Catawba Nation Family Services ensures tribal citizens have their basic needs met while also paving a pathway to self-sufficiency. A holistic approach to accomplishing these goals includes a variety of services such as monetary and materialist assistance that promotes the wellbeing of the trial family. The Family Services team works with Individuals and Families to provide support in the areas of physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental health.

Child Welfare
"Native Homes for Native Families"
The Indian Child Welfare Act drives our work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all tribal children and their families. When serving children and their families our ultimate goal is to see families thrive which promotes the continued existence of the Catawba Nation. Through Advocacy, Family Services provides support, implement federal law, and educates the community on child welfare matters. The safety, permanency, and wellbeing of children drives the next seven generations.
Nativehealth
"Prevent. Treat. Recover."
NATIVEhealth is a three-part program including Prevention, Treatment/Intervention, and Recovery. This program examines behavioral health emphasizing substance misuse, mental health disorders like depression and anxiety, and suicide. Through case management, counseling, and education the Family Services Team brings culturally relevant and evidenced-based practices to each service provided to the community NATIVEhealth’s desire is for everyone to live well.
